One of the few Russian rock bands to nurse
out a sound that resists easy comparison with any Western source,
Auktyon (pronounced auction) are consistently and wholly original.
Emerging from St. Petersburg in the early 80’s Aukyton has
become “as revered as the Grateful Dead” in their homeland
and a cult band in continental Europe where they spend half of their
time touring.
